Handcrafted from genuine reclaimed barn wood, this collection brings the texture, history and natural character of old American barns into a versatile floating shelf designed for everyday use.

The lumber comes primarily from mid-1900s barns and finishes at approximately 1½” thick, giving these shelves a classic, substantial profile while remaining lighter and more versatile than our heavier 2″ and 3″ reclaimed collections.

Every shelf is individually built and finished to order in our Upstate New York shop.

Genuine Reclaimed Barn Wood

This is real salvaged barn lumber, not new wood artificially distressed to look old.

Every board has developed its own character over decades of use. Nail holes, sawmill marks, knots, checking, weathering, wear marks and variations in grain and color are all part of what makes this material special.

We carefully clean, prepare and finish the lumber while preserving the characteristics that tell its story. No two shelves will ever be exactly alike.

True Hidden Floating Installation

Every shelf includes our concealed mounting system, creating a clean floating appearance with no visible brackets or supports.

Standard mounting hardware is included for drywall or plaster walls with wood studs. If you’re installing into brick, stone, tile, metal studs or another wall construction, contact us and we’ll help determine the appropriate mounting hardware for your project.

Your Choice of Finish

Choose from the available finish options to complement your space, from warm traditional wood tones through rich coffee browns and deep espresso shades.

Unless otherwise requested, these shelves feature our Artisan Sculpted edges and softly rounded corners. This treatment creates a finished, handcrafted appearance without removing the natural irregularities and character of the reclaimed wood.

Alternative edge treatments and custom finishes are available by request.

Choose your preferred length, depth and finish from the available options. If you don’t see exactly what you need, custom dimensions are always welcome.

We also create custom corner shelves, illuminated shelving and unusual configurations for spaces where standard shelving simply doesn’t work.
