We at Barnwood Designs have sought to make our livelihood a blend of a number of different elements; we are, of course, woodworkers, but because of the nature of the wood we work with, we are also historians and collectors of rare antique lumber. Our Appalachian Heritage Woodsman’s Reserve represents the best of our work on all fronts; it is some of the rarest and highest quality lumber we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Harvested in the early 19th century from the remote and rugged Tug Hill Plateau region of upstate New York, these planks of wood served the burgeoning dairy industry in the Westernville, NY area for nearly 200 years. The hay stored in these barns fed cows for the nation’s first cheese factory, in Westernville. Now, we’re pleased to share it with you, in the form of rugged floating shelves with a distinct early American character.
Here, we have these wonderful floating shelves in 10″ by 3″ dimensions. Please select the length you require, as well as the color that suits your needs.
