Silver City Solid Wood Floating Shelves
The Silver City Series combines the substantial look and feel of a true solid wood floating shelf with a cleaner, more contemporary finish than reclaimed barn wood.
Each shelf is handcrafted to order in our Upstate New York shop from carefully selected solid lumber. The result is a smooth, substantial shelf that showcases real wood grain without the nail holes, weathering and century-old markings found in our reclaimed collections.
Silver City is an excellent choice for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, bedrooms, offices and living spaces where you want the warmth of real wood with a cleaner, more refined appearance.
Real Solid Wood
These are not hollow box shelves, veneered MDF or lightweight imitation wood.
Every Silver City shelf is built from genuine solid lumber, individually selected, milled, finished and assembled for your order. Natural variations in grain and tone remain visible, giving every shelf its own character while maintaining a considerably cleaner appearance than reclaimed wood.

Custom dimensions are always welcome. If the size you need isn’t listed, send us your measurements and we’ll be happy to build it.
True Hidden Floating Installation
Every Silver City shelf includes our concealed mounting system, designed to create a strong installation with no visible brackets or supports.
All standard mounting hardware is included for drywall or plaster walls with wood studs. If you’re installing into brick, stone, tile, metal studs or another wall construction, contact us and we’ll help determine the appropriate mounting hardware for your project.
Hand Finished in Upstate New York
Your shelf is individually finished to highlight the natural grain and beauty of the wood while providing a durable surface for everyday use.
Choose from our standard finish options, or contact us if you’re trying to match an existing piece, cabinet, floor or other element in your room.
Handmade to Order
Every Silver City shelf is made specifically for the customer who ordered it. It isn’t pulled from warehouse inventory or shipped from a mass-production facility.
From selecting the lumber through final finishing, your shelf is built by hand in our Upstate New York shop with the intention of creating something substantial, functional and lasting.
